A Desperate Mother's Antics With Morning Sickness Remedies!
How Did I Make My Morning Sickness Stop?
Hi, Alison here! :-)
If you’re looking for the best way to make your morning sickness stop then I’m glad you’ve found my website and I strongly suggest you keep reading…
This is my ‘warts and all’ story about the horrible nausea during pregnancy, how trying different morning sickness remedies didn’t work and finally the one thing that did help me manage to combat morning sickness, thank heavens!
What a nightmare it is dealing with pregnancy sickness, right? Trying different so-called ‘morning sickness remedies’ – none of which seem to really work and wondering just when does morning sickness stop?!
When I was pregnant first time around, I experienced pregnancy nausea and vomiting up until week 27! Yep, WEEK 27! It went away for a little while and then came back 2 weeks before I gave birth :-(
Firstly, you’d think ‘morning sickness’ would be confined to somewhere between the hours of 6am and midday right? In fact that sounds quite heavenly in comparison to the round-the-clock severe morning sickness that I and many other women experience and I’m judging, since you’re here, that you are too.
If you are nearing your wits’ end with pregnancy nausea and desperately want to stop the sickness, food aversions and tiredness that comes from it, I want you to know that you’re not alone!
I remember waking up at about 3am one night (ok, so technically it’s morning), shooting up out of bed and literally projectile vomiting across my room, much to my husband’s horror. It was like something from the movie ‘The Exorcist’.
Not pleasant and the last thing I felt like doing at that time of the morning, dazed and confused with a huge baby bump, was changing the bedding!
Of course it was all worthwhile (honestly) once I had my wonderful daughter Ava but it was like a living nightmare at the time and something I vowed I did not want to go through again when I got pregnant second time around.
When I found out I was pregnant with my son, Daniel I just knew that I could not go through the extreme sickness I had had when I was pregnant before and that I had to find a lasting way to make my morning sickness stop, for good.
Now I had tried most of the traditional ‘morning sickness cures’ and they plain just didn’t work for me. Things like Sea bands, ginger ale, herbal tea, dry biscuits, B vitamin, even aromatherapy – none of it gave me any real respite. Admittedly, ginger ale gave mild relief but very short lived…I think I just enjoyed the taste of it really.
So as soon as I knew I was pregnant for the second time I went on a mad hunt – an online hunt to find a way to prevent morning sickness for good.
It took a while but I eventually came across a gem of a little website and guide ‘End Morning Sickness’ that helped me get rid of my sickness, for good! It literally takes you by the hand and shows you step-by-step a very easy and unique method for curing your pregnancy nausea and vomiting.
Admittedly, I was sceptical when I came across Claire Batten’s End Morning Sickness guide but I thought I’d give it a go – after all I had tried everything else under the sun it seemed. Plus it was covered by a 2 month guarantee so I figured I’d just get my money back if it didn’t work.
I bought Claire’s book, read it cover to cover in one sitting (it’s super-easy to read) and started applying the techniques she suggests straight away.
And guess what…it worked. And I say it worked, I mean it WORKED! No more morning sickness for me :-) Hurray!
I was absolutely over the moon and after I e-mailed Claire, I found out that it had worked for many thousands of other pregnant ladies too. Claire did say that there are about 2 or 3 in every hundred women who it doesn’t work for but that is a pretty small minority.
The one thing I did find with the End Morning Sickness guide is that it took a few times of doing it to really get the technique but once I did, it was easy and worked like an absolute charm.
I would recommend this book in a heartbeat to any woman who is suffering with morning sickness and pregnancy nausea, so I urge you to check it out if that’s you.
